Our community includes approximately 150 world-class partner organisations, and works across borders to connect business, research and education. We call this meeting point the ‘knowledge triangle‘, where life-changing innovation happens.

The Six Minutes Walking Test + System integrates biomechanical sensors into the standard exercise used in hospitals to monitor the evolution of chronic diseases.

INFINITy
Uses smartphones, GPS and other existing technologies to create a system that allows people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to leave their home without supervision.

Uses a robotic assistant, software games and a remote connection to a therapist to allow post-stroke patients with upper-limb impairment to undergo physical rehabilitation at home.

Establishes a technologically enabled and personalised programme to prepare patients for elective surgery and provide follow-up, to improve the outcomes of the operation.

Is a comprehensive system to bring care home by constantly monitoring a patient’s intrinsic capacity and sounding an alarm when a decline in that capacity may indicate the onset of a disease or disability.

Seeks to develop a home version of Rehabilitation Gaming System (RGS), a hospital-proven neurorehabilation technique in which post-stroke patients play virtual games to aid motor and cognitive recovery.
